"Hamilton" will make its return to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center May 9-21, 2023

APPLETON – Broadway's megahit musical "Hamilton" is returning to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Eye to highlight its 20th anniversary season.

The PAC announced its lineup for the 2022-23 season at an in-person reveal outcome Monday.

"Hamilton" made its Wisconsin premiere at the PAC in Oct 2019. The musical, which scored eleven Tony Awards in 2016 and began touring the country in 2017, will brand its return to the Fox Cities for a two-week engagement May 9-21, 2023.

In addition to "Hamilton," other touring musicals and plays coming to the PAC as part of the Kimberly-Clark Broadway Beyond America – Fox Cities Series are "Jesus Christ Superstar," Disney'south "Aladdin," "SIX," Harper Lee's "To Kill A Mockingbird," "Cats" and "Ain't Too Proud – Life and Times of The Temptations."

Out of those shows, "Aladdin," "SIX" and "To Impale A Mockingbird" are coming to Wisconsin for the first time — and their runs in Appleton will be their only performances in the land this season, PAC president and CEO Maria Van Laanen said.

Jeff Daniels and Gbenga Akinnagbe perform in "To Kill A Mockingbird" on Broadway. "To Kill A Mockingbird" is one of three shows set to make its Wisconsin debut in Appleton during the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's 2022-23 season.

As in years past, audience members accept the opportunity to get season ticket holders for the Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America – Fox Cities Series. This year, there's a five-prove season ticket option that starts at $214 and includes all the Broadway touring shows except "Hamilton" and "Cats," and a six-show season ticket option that starts at $264 and adds "Hamilton." Due to its brief run of simply five performances at the PAC, "Cats" is not included in either season ticket package.

According to the PAC, flavour ticket holders receive benefits including guaranteed seat locations, access to invitation-only events, priority offers and a five-month payment program option. Flavour tickets are on sale now. More than information on ownership or renewing season ticket packages can be found online at the PAC'south website.

"SIX," a musical retelling of Henry VIII's wives in the form of a pop concert, will make its Wisconsin premiere at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Jan. 17-22, 2023.

Across its Kimberly-Clark Broadway Beyond America Series, the PAC has ii other series that bring performances to the Fox Cities. The Boldt Arts Alive! Serial focuses on various communities and "a variety of performances that provide a window to the globe," co-ordinate to the PAC website, and the Spotlight Series holds performances in the PAC's smaller, more intimate Kimberly-Clark Theater.

In celebration of the PAC's 20th anniversary, and continuing the return to live theater that began with the 2021-22 season, the 2022-23 Bold Arts Live! and Spotlight series will focus on a theme of community.

"We are going to be exploring what community means and why it's important," Van Laanen said. "We're having conversations with our community partners nearly how nosotros can present performances, artists, content that volition be especially meaningful to inform these conversations of creating a welcoming, inclusive community where everyone feels they vest."

Only 1 prove is slated for the Boldt Arts Alive! Serial — The New York Tenors with the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra, on Feb. 11, 2023. The Spotlight Serial has two shows scheduled: "Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience" coming November. 17 and a cabaret-manner concert from Broadway veteran Adam Jacobs titled "Correct Where I Vest: Songs of Alan Menken," coming June 3, 2023. Van Laanen said additional performances will be added to the serial in the coming months.

The PAC is following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Command and Prevention besides as continuing ongoing conversations with local public health officials to make up one's mind any alterations or changes to its COVID-xix protocols during the next season, Van Laanen said. Currently, all audience members and workers are required to vesture face coverings at the PAC.

Tickets for the Boldt Arts Alive! Series and Spotlight Series continue auction to the public 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Tickets may be purchased on ticketmaster.com, by calling the ticket part at 920-730-3760 or by visiting the office at 400 W. College Ave. Groups of 10 or more than interested in purchasing tickets for any performance can reserve their seats at foxcitiespac.com/groups.

Van Laanen warned PAC guests to be wary of fraudulent ticket sites. The simply official site for purchasing tickets for shows at the PAC is Ticketmaster. Tickets for individual shows coming to the Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America – Fox Cities Series during the 2022-23 season are not yet available, so any sites claiming to sell them are non legitimate, Van Laanen said.
